Windrush Day 22 June

I created a booklet celebrating the stories of the Windrush generation and their descendants, featuring moving personal accounts extracted from an exhibition at Kensington and Chelsea Libraries. These stories inspired the key visual and illustration style, which I applied across various communication materials and channels to honour Windrush history, and the design was also used as a backdrop for filming and other events. The colour palette of orange and turquoise was chosen to reflect the era and aesthetic of the time period.
